As of summer 2026, our website provides both a supplement and an extension of an essay we are submitting/have submitted to an academic journal for consideration. Many elements in our current website language withhold specific information now so as to facilitate anonymized peer review of that essay. In the future, we hope to provide citation information so that website visitors will be able to find the essay in a published article form.

Shafiq is our Project Manager. He is a graduate student with an American/ethnic studies literature focus.
Sarah is a team member. She is a senior faculty member.
Amanda is a team member. She is a graduate student with a Rhetoric/Composition focus.
Gunja is a team member. She is a graduate student with a Global South Literature focus.
Tristan is a team member. He is a beginning assistant professor with a Rhetoric/Composition focus.
Description of Team:
These team members began collaborative inquiry into AI and authorship in 2025 while working and learning together at the same private university in the US Southwest.
Team Two Authors
Tyler is a team member. He is an associate professor at a Midwest state university.
Jackie is a team member. She is an associate professor and composition director at a Southwest state university.
Josh is a team member. She is an associate professor and composition director at a Midwest state university.
Description of Team:
Team Two members joined the project in spring 2026. All are tenured associate professors at different universities, and all are alumni of the university where Team One members launched the inquiry project.
Web Design Team
Samantha is the designer of the Author’s Inquiry on AI web space.
Sarah is the faculty advisor for the the website’s ongoing development.
Description of Team:
The Web Design Team has envisioned a digital space that could host an archive of materials and resources used in the project so as to encourage transparency and constructive, public conversations about the use of AI.
